How does the Caroo sales mandate work?
With the sales mandate, Caroo handles the sale of your vehicle from A to Z. We take professional photos, write the listing, manage viewings and negotiations, and handle all paperwork (Car-Pass, technical inspection, DIV transfer). You receive payment the next business day after the sale. A fixed commission, known in advance, is deducted from the sale price.
What are the fixed charges for listing with Caroo?
No fixed charges. Caroo works solely on commission, deducted at the time of the actual sale. The exact amounts are communicated during the free estimate, before you make any decision. To guarantee the quality of our showroom, we offer professional detailing at a competitive price — not mandatory if your vehicle is already in perfect condition. Full transparency is our commitment.
How long does it take to sell my car?
On average, a vehicle sells in 2 to 4 weeks at Caroo. From your appointment, you receive an accurate estimate within 24 hours. If you opt for direct buyback, payment is made the next business day. Popular vehicles (SUVs, hybrids, electric) often sell faster.
What if my car doesn't sell?
If your vehicle doesn't find a buyer within the expected timeframe, we reassess the pricing strategy together. Caroo can also make you a direct purchase offer at any time, guaranteeing you a certain sale. You remain free to withdraw your vehicle at no cost.
Can I sell my vehicle if it's still under car finance?
Yes, this is entirely possible and quite common. During the transaction, the remaining balance owed to your financing institution is paid off directly, and you receive the net difference. Our advisors guide you through these steps in a single operation.
Are Caroo vehicles covered by a warranty?
Yes, without exception. Every vehicle sold to a private individual by Caroo comes with a 12-month warranty included in the price, with no surcharge or paid option. Before listing, each car undergoes a complete quality check and all necessary repairs are carried out by our technicians.
Can I test-drive the vehicle before buying?
Absolutely. We invite you to make an appointment at our agency in Wolvertem for an on-site test drive. You can test the vehicle in real conditions and ask our team all your questions.
Do you offer leasing or financing?
Yes, Caroo offers car financing and leasing solutions in partnership with selected credit institutions. A personalised simulation is presented during your visit. The trade-in of your current vehicle can be integrated into the financing plan.
Where do the vehicles for sale at Caroo come from?
Our vehicles come mainly from sales mandates from Belgian private sellers and company fleets. Each car is rigorously inspected, checked and refurbished by our technicians before sale. We guarantee full transparency on the vehicle's history.
Are the listed prices negotiable?
Our prices are set as accurately as possible using our Belgian market analysis algorithm. They reflect the real value of the vehicle. If you have a question about a price, our team will be happy to explain in detail how it was determined.
